Pembridge Amenity Trust is a registered charity and manages and maintains the major amenities of the village. The unique octagonal detached Bell Tower dates from 1208 with the main oak timbers measuring 11m x 0.5m x 0.5m. Later used as a refuge with arrow slit windows and musket holes in the oak doors. The early 16th century Market Hall partly rests on the base of a mediaeval cross and still has its mark or nail stones. Massive oak pillars support a stone tiled roof all held together with wooden pegs.
The village car park hosts some of the best kept toilets in the U.K., fully accessible for the less able. Information boards and picnic tables are also provided for the use of visitors..
The Millennium Meadow is a recently acquired two acre field adjacent to the car park, already over 100 trees have been planted and a children's playground including climbing frames and swings have been installed. A tennis court is planned together with plantings and pathways around the Meadow.
Dozens of listed buildings including a 13th century octagonal Bell Tower, Church, 16th century Market Hall, Moated Manor, Almshouses, forges, wheelwrights, Tudor Inns, Merchants houses and mediaeval cottages galore. Pembridge was formerly a mediaeval borough - now it's a thriving village with a Restaurant, Inns, Tea Rooms, Pottery, Gallery, Studio, Cider Mill, Gift Shops Bazaar and more.
